1. How much hair do I need?
To achieve a full sew-in weave with our Raw Indian hair, you will need around 8 to 10 ounces of hair.
For lengths 10''-18'', we recommend using at least 3 bundles.
For lengths 20"-24", we recommend using at least 3-4 bundles.
For lengths 26"-40" in length, we suggest using at least 4-5 bundles.
Keep in mind that each bundle weighs 100 grams/3.5 ounces and the hair is sold by overall weight, which means the weft becomes shorter as the hair gets longer.
2. What about clip-in extensions?
For optimal length, we suggest utilizing a single set of clip-in extensions that weigh 150 grams equivalent to 1 bundle and a half. When aiming for fullness, we advise using two sets of clip-in extensions, each weighing 150 grams equivalent to 3 bundles.
3. Can I color this hair?
Yes, the hair is completely natural and unprocessed. If you decide to color the hair, it's important to take good care of it by keeping it conditioned and moisturized. Proper maintenance is necessary.
4. How long does this hair last?
With proper care and maintenance, the longevity of your hair can be 3-5 years or even longer.
To maintain longevity, use a good quality shampoo and conditioner. When washing, make sure to shampoo and condition in a downward motion and rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
Apply conditioner and comb through with a wide tooth comb, starting from the ends and working your way up to your scalp. Rinse thoroughly and let your hair air dry. For professional maintenance, it is recommended to see a licensed hairstylist.
5. What about daily maintenance?
To prevent product buildup, it's best to limit the use of styling products.
If you have wavy or curly textures and want a natural look, try using a spray bottle filled with water.
For a wet look, consider using a leave-in conditioner and water.
Avoid alcohol-based products as they can dry out the hair.
Start by dampening your hair with a water bottle, then use a wide-tooth comb to gently work through your hair from the ends up to your scalp.
Finally, scrunch your hair gently to reform curls and let it air dry. Once dry, style your hair as desired.
